Maids and Hallways
Samson was a prince. Or maybe a half prince? See, his mother was in fact the queen of Cobblestine, but his father wasn't a king. His father was actually a maid who worked at the castle.
Due to old laws, queens aren't supposed to find new love after their spouse has passed. Yet still, she did.
Because of this Samson was kept a secret to everybody but the castle staff. Luckily, everyone who did know him liked him a lot. Especially his parents, whom loved him dearly.
He often sneaked around the castle, looking for something new and interesting. He’d ask the gardener about the lavender which you could find anywhere around the castle yards. He’d talk to the chef about which deserts would go well with different main dishes. Most often however, he’d talk to his dad. Not just about flowers or deserts, about anything. There was a whole world beyond the castle walls which Samson didn’t know, and he’d do anything to learn more about it.
Maids
In Cobblestine "maid" is a term that applies to anyone imployed within castle walls. They have important jobs that vary from administration to sanitation.
Beyond being essential for the Cobblestine government to function, maids are known for sporting some truely fancy uniforms. Very chic!
Samson's Dad
Maxwell Walker is a maid who works at Cobblestine Castle. He is communication manager of a nearby town.
His job has him travel a lot. Which he likes, because he's always in contact with a lot of different people.
However, he hates having to leave his son at the castle. So whenever he's home, he tries to spend as much time with Samson as he can.
